Well hello entredentists. Angus Pryor here, creator of The Dental Profit System, and the number one bestselling Amazon author bringing you today’s Marketing Monday.
First of all I want to say I am so grateful, so grateful to everyone who bought a copy of my book over the weekend, made it such an amazing launch. I just can’t thank you enough. We’ve become the number one bestseller in Dentistry on Amazon. I’m just absolutely blown away and I really hope for you that if you buy it that you get so much value out of it, that you can really use it to take your business to the next level. I thank you so much for your support for this, it just means the world to me.
Okey-doke, now today we’re in our series, looking at a countdown on the top five marketing mistakes made by dentists and today we’re up to number five.
Mistake number five is around websites and it’s the biggest mistake that I see and we had a session, a workshop over the weekend, was I asked people, I said, what do you think the purpose of the website is and the common answer to that question is information and I have to say to you to a point yes, but really what your website’s about getting people to pick up the phone or to book an appointment.
If they’re not doing that then you’re wasting your time. I mean, really, do you really just want people to kind of know stuff. And the answer is of course not. What we really want, we want them to pick up the phone, we want them to make an appointment.
So I’ve written in the background here, website and then this one here, CTA. You need a call to action on every page on your website. What do you want people to do? And I’ve got there, call or book. Because if you’re not getting them to do that then really, there’s kind of no point.
So that’s mistake number five. You can have pretty looking websites but I would take a website that converts, it converts inquiries into people actually picking up the phone, I have an ugly website with that every day of the week.
All right, well that’s number five, tomorrow I’m coming to you with mistake number four. The countdown continues, otherwise for me, Angus Pryor, thanks for once again for your incredible support, for the book, for me, Angus Pryor signing off, see you next time in the countdown to the top 10 worst dental marketing mistakes. See ya.
